How long does sod take to root?
Typically, sod takes about 2-3 weeks to root under proper watering and care. We’ll provide care tips after installation.

Yes, we provide grading to ensure proper drainage and a smooth, level surface before installing sod.
What type of sod do you install?
We typically install Kentucky Bluegrass and other durable blends suitable for Western New York lawns.
Is grading necessary for new lawns?
Proper grading prevents pooling and promotes healthy turf growth. We always recommend grading before new lawn installs.
How long until I can mow after sodding?
You should wait at least two weeks or until the sod is firmly rooted before mowing the first time.
Do you remove old grass before laying sod?
Yes, we remove all existing turf, debris, and weeds before preparing the surface and laying new sod.

What’s included in a spring cleanup?
Leaf removal. Branch pick up removing winter debris from lawn and landscaping beds. Removing debris from property.
Do you haul away debris after cleanups?
Leaves are piled at the curb for town collection. Arrangements can be made for leaf removal. For additional fee.
Can you prep flower beds and edge?
Absolutely. We edge beds, remove old mulch, and prepare soil to help you get a jumpstart on planting.
Do you offer gutter cleaning in spring or fall?
No we do not offer this service
Can you remove large branches or storm debris?
Yes, we clean up storm damage and can safely remove and dispose of large branches and fallen limbs.
How early should I schedule seasonal cleanups?
We recommend booking early in spring (March) and fall (late September) to secure your spot before our schedule fills up.
